The hotel consists of two buildings: a 19th-century palace that has been refurbished and a contemporary building featuring an impressive facade by local artist Vhils, who has often been referred to as Portugal's answer to Banksy. Art is a central part of the hotel's identity, with pieces from local and international artists on display throughout the property.

Architecture

Architect Pedro Gomes Fernandes oversaw the redesign of Artsy Cascais Boutique Hotel, preserving the original Rococo features of the 19th-century mansion while incorporating modern elements.

Interior Design

Marta Carreira guiding idea was to immerse the hotel in its surroundings, bringing surrounding seaside elements into the rooms.

Art

Fipsi Seilern takes much of her subject matter from her immediate environment paralleled with observations concerning the timeless and inescapable aspects of mankind.
